Acting

BMC is one of the country’s leading performing arts academies. With over 25 years experience in acting, dancing and musical theatre, the academy has helped hundreds of performers develop their raw talent.

The BMC Level 3 Acting course offers comprehensive practical training in the skills required to pursue a career as an actor in the theatre, film and TV industries.  

You will explore a wide range of performance genres and techniques through regular skills sessions and performance projects. These include: devised theatre, filming a classical period drama; theatre for children, green-screen special effects work, a West End musical, stage combat technique, physical theatre and a full-scale contemporary play.

During your time on the course you will work with a range of highly-skilled tutors, who are all practising professionals in their field. This ensures that the training you receive is up-to-date and based on current industry practice. You will also get the opportunity to work in our very own 350 seat professional working theatre, specialist drama and dance studios, a fully operational TV studio, and a live sound recording studio.

The Acting course is a challenging, but ultimately very rewarding course which aims to develop you into a physically, vocally, and intellectually versatile performer.
