Brooksby Melton College is delighted to be placed highest in the East Midlands for student achievement and third nationally!
Following a review of specialist Land-based providers, BMC has been ranked top across the whole of the East Midlands for achievement among 16-18 across all levels, and a fantastic third nationally for Level 3 provision.
In a government review of General FE Colleges, BMC has also been identified as the highest performing college in the region for 16-18 year olds on Level 3 qualifications, which are equivalent to A Levels.
With a 94.7% achievement rate, BMC stood a massive 10% above the national rates, meaning that it is also ranked as the third highest performing college in the country.
These figures highlight the benefits of studying at BMC, and demonstrate its commitment to providing students with the best learning experience.

We are immensely proud of how dedicated and hard-working our students are and they really do deserve to be studying in the best learning environment.
All of our Study Programmes have a strong employability focus, which means that students are fully equipped to enter into their chosen industry and develop a fulfilling career for themselves. We have some fantastic links with industry which further enhances the student experience.
It is hugely rewarding to be able to support so many students to follow their dreams every year, and we love to hear the many success stories from our past students.”
Ethan Halford, Level 3 Creative Media Production student said “Studying at BMC has really opened up huge opportunities for me, all of the staff are very supportive and the facilities are great, and I am really enjoying my time here. I looked at loads of other colleges before choosing BMC, but I felt that BMC could offer me so much more! I would definitely recommend BMC to anyone thinking about their options after year 11.”
BMC has recently invested £27.7 million in state-of-the-art facilities across both of its campuses to further enhance the student experience. The Melton campus has welcomed improved facilities for performing arts, media, childcare and students with learning difficulties and disabilities, with new social spaces and catering facilities and much more including large hair and beauty salons.
The Brooksby campus has benefited from an extension of the state-of-the-art animal care centre and equine yards as well as new student accommodation, new glasshouses and engineering workshops, and a new multi-purpose sports hall and all weather 3G pitch.
