Entry Requirements

Starting in Bricklaying or mature students with relevant experience.

Modules

Carry out safe working practices in construction
Building methods and construction
Interpret working drawings to set out masonry structures
Thin joint masonry and masonry cladding
Build solid walling, isolated and attached piers
Build cavity walling forming masonry structures
Know how to carry out safe working practices in construction

Career Progression

Work within Industry towards an NVQ or go onto a level 3 qualification.
