Introduction to Film Making

The course is designed as a foundation for you to build your media production skills to progress onto the Advanced Film Making or enter employment in the media industry. The course is highly practical and will give you the opportunity to develop the fundamental skills underlying all media production.

A full-time 1 year course running over 5 days per week.

Entry Requirements

 4 GCSE’s Grade D or above or you should be able to show you have undertaken suitable work experience or have completed a relevant Level 1 or Level 2 qualification.

  • Project 2: Factual production
  • Project 3: Creative media Production project
Alongside these projects you will also complete the following units:
  • Research for Creative Media
  • Communication Techniques for Creative Media
  • The Creative Media Sector
