Entry Requirements

  • The standard entry requirement is 160 UCAS points.
  • UCAS points can come from either a BTEC level 3 course or equivalent (for example BTEC Extended Diploma) or from A Levels in a related subject.
  • Mature students will be considered following interview.

Career Progression

The course will provide you with the knowledge, skills and understanding that will support your career development in the animal industry or, if you choose, from other career options. These include: work as an educational officer, animal welfare inspector, pet nutritionist, zoo keeper, animal laboratory specialist, rehabilitation specialist, behavioural consultant, or work in kennels and catteries. Work in pet insurance, at farm parks and vet services. You can also progress to BSc in Animal Management (Top-Up)
