Everyone’s going vampire crazy this year with the Twightlight saga and shows such as True Blood, and BMC are preparing to unleash their magnificent UK college premiere of Dracula The Musical (an amateur production in association with Josef Weinberger Ltd). Written by Don Black and Christopher Hampton, this terrifying and passionate Broadway hit musical, based on the gothic vampire classic, features moving and highly emotive music written by Frank Wildhorn whose previous West End and Broadway shows include; Jekyll and Hyde, and The Scarlett Pimpernel. The production will also feature a fabulous 20 piece orchestra.
BMC Musical Theatre students have been rehearsing constantly in preparation for their big production and you can view the production trailer and see behind the scenes images at www.dracula.moonfruit.com
The production will run from 3-5 June 2010, tickets are priced at £10 (£8 concessions) and the shows start at 7.30pm each evening. For further information and to book your tickets contact 01664 851111 or email boxoffice@brooksbymelton.ac.uk
