Brooksby Melton College’s (BMC) Higher National Diploma (HND) in Equine Performance Management students are hosting an event on 18th December at Brooksby Equestrian Centre to raise money for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.
The students are holding a series of events, open to all who are able to ride. Classes will consist of six untimed show jumps, followed by six timed simulated cross country jumps. The jumps start from 70cm and go up to 1m. Clear round classes will run throughout the day, where riders must complete all jumps without any faults.
There will be a raffle on the day, with a Gatehouse HS1 Riding Hat as first prize. Other prizes include a Spillers Jacket and vouchers for various tack shops. Mince pies and non-alcoholic mulled wine will be available.
As a festive gift to the pilot and crew of the air ambulance service, there will be the opportunity to decorate a Christmas bauble with a message.
Entry forms can be collected from Learner Services at the Brooksby Campus and Brooksby Equestrian Centre.
For more information about the Eventers Challenge please telephone 07891 495524.
