Transport
Getting to Brooksby Melton is a lot easier than you think, there are a number of college contract buses that operate across the county and there are good service bus routes direct to the college from Nottingham, and Leicester City centres.
In association with Brooksby Melton College, Leicestershire County Council operates college contract buses from various points within the county. These, together with the use of public transport, ensures that most Leicestershire students will be able to travel to college daily.
Bus passes cover the journey from home to college. This may mean that some students will need two bus passes – one pass to use on a public service bus from home to a point where they can catch the college contract bus, and a second pass to travel on the contract bus to college.
Anyone living outside Leicestershire, ie Rutland or Lincolnshire, apply directly to their own authority for a bus pass.
All students who apply and are offered a place on a full time course are entitled to subsidised travel and will be sent out a transport pack to apply for a bus pass.
Alongside the public transport the college also provides dedicated contract buses from around the region.
