Andrew Rees
This year Andrew has been named ‘Young Farmer of the Year’
Since Andrew scooped a BMC Best Student Award, he hasn’t looked back.
This year he has been named ‘Young Farmer of the Year’ by creating a profitable and sustainable business whilst at the same time sharing his knowledge with others and engaging the public, something which he feels is very important for the future of the industry in the UK.
Andrew has been working on a farm since he left school and honed his skills at BMC “I just loved the amount of land and spending so much time on the farm, studying at BMC was fantastic.”
“Winning the award has been great. It is nice to gain recognition for all the hard work I’ve put in all these years, it just shows that if you work hard you can really achieve whatever you want and that is very rewarding in itself.”
