Here at BMC we are dedicated to supporting the economic growth of our region, and Apprenticeships are a great way to support the development of businesses while providing the Apprentice with the skills, qualifications and experience they need to succeed in their career.

Transform your future today, become a BMC Apprentice.

Apprenticeships at BMC

Brooksby Melton College has been delivering Apprenticeships across the region for many years. We work closely with a wide variety of employers across a range of industries, so our students have a greater choice when planning their future career paths.

Apprenticeships at BMC are perfect for anyone who wants to develop their career while working in the industry and apprentices do real jobs for real employers, so you’re paid while you learn.

Functional Skills for Apprentices

Functional skills provide you with the skills and knowledge to operate confidently, effectively, and independently in both work and wider life. As an apprentice you will be required to reach a certain level of attainment in both Maths and English before the end of your programme (if you have not achieved the required level previously). For more information about Functional Skills as a BMC apprentice click here.

Are you already working?

If you already have a job, you can still take part in an apprenticeship, meaning that at the end of your apprenticeship you will be fully qualified to carry out your job effectively. Employers may also be able to claim a grant for each apprentice they take on.
