Brush cutter and trimmer

Brush cutter and trimmer training is an employer requirement of The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998. Adequate training must cover maintenance and operation of brush cutters and trimmers and to ensure that equipment is operated only by employees who have received appropriate training in their safe use.

Your future

Upon completion you will be issued with a City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of Brush-cutters and Trimmers. You may wish to consider additional forestry and arboriculture qualifications offered by the College such as City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting – CS30.
