The Level 4 Certificate for the Early Years Advanced Practitioner qualification has been designed to support the professional development of Early Years workers who hold a Level 3 early years or childcare qualification. The qualification provides an opportunity to build on your knowledge and understanding of early years practice, and develop skills that will promote quality, encourage leadership, prepare you for management responsibilities and allow for growth in coaching and mentoring others.

Your future

Whilst this qualification has been designed for practitioners in the early years workforce, learning at this level will help you to hone study skills to prepare you for further study at a higher level.  It is important to remember that individual universities will have their own entry requirements.

Entry requirements

Learners should be at least 18 years old and hold Level 3 Childcare and GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.

Must currently be employed in a relevant post.
