Salary: £37,625 – £41,125
Based at our Stephenson and Melton Campus
The SMB Group is a highly successful FE college, formed through the merger of Stephenson College and Brooksby Melton College. We are an innovative and highly responsive centre for education and training with campuses in Coalville, Melton Mowbray and Brooksby.
We are looking for a high quality and effective manager to lead the growth and provision for T levels and other qualifications for the newly established Health, Care and Childhood Section Manager ensuring excellence, innovation and sustainability in teaching, Learning and assessment ensuring excellent student success.
A key focus of the role will be to develop a:
- Pre-Nursing and Paramedic Academy
- Health and Social Care Academy
- Childhood and Early Years Academy
This provision is an exciting opportunity for an individual to create an employer led provision that meets and exceeds the demands of the local area for skills and employment. The role will work closely also with leading the development of the T level implementation. The role will work closely with the Director of Curriculum and Deputy Principal in order to provide high standards and a coherent provision for Study Programmes, Adults and Access and HE over time.
As well as your relevant experience and current knowledge, you will also be willing to obtain a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) if you do not already possess one.
