Brooksby Melton College’s Rural Catering Centre is set to re-open on Tuesday 6th October, offering three course lunches, fine dining experiences and themed evenings.
The centre, which serves as a training restaurant for BMC students and apprentices, has been closed over the college’s summer break.
They will be re-opening this October with a number of COVID-secure measures in place, including socially distanced tables, sanitising stations, and a one-way entrance and exit system. In addition, staff and students will wear visors, and guests will be advised to wear masks when not seated at their table.
The restaurant, which is situated at the college’s Melton Campus, will be open during term-time on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday lunchtimes (12 – 1pm), when they will have a special offer on their three-course lunch menu at just £8.95 per head*. In addition, fine dining experiences and themed nights will be offered fortnightly on Thursday evenings (6:45 – 7:15pm) for £20.95 per head. Friday evening and Saturday bookings are also available on request.

The Rural Catering Centre opened in 2015 as a part of the ‘Big BMC Transformation’, which saw an investment of £27.7 million across the college’s two campuses. BMC’s Catering and Hospitality students benefit from learning in these industry-standard commercial restaurant and kitchen facilities, allowing them to develop the skills required by this dynamic and exciting industry.
